The Missing Voices in Healthcare Education: Patient and Public Involvement in Interprofessional Learning

Our approach

How PULPIT works

Involving patients and the public

We bring lived experience into healthcare education, creating opportunities for students to learn with patients and the public, not only about them.

Learning across professions

PULPIT combines Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) with Interprofessional Education (IPE), helping students understand different perspectives, roles and experiences in healthcare.

Co-creating educational resources

Patients, students, educators and partners contribute to the development of educational resources designed to support meaningful patient involvement in healthcare education.

Turning learning into lasting change

Through research, educational activities and international collaboration, PULPIT develops knowledge, resources and recommendations that can support the integration of PPI into healthcare education.

About PULPIT

Learning with patients, not only about them

PULPIT is an Erasmus+ project that brings Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) into Interprofessional Education (IPE).

By connecting patients, students and educators, PULPIT helps future healthcare professionals learn from lived experience and supports more person-centred healthcare education.
